As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.

We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany - our team consists of 40+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team).

We are supported by partners like Krombacher, Flaschenpost, Scalable Capital and DAZN, but there are still 1-2 bangers in the pipeline that you can be excited about! Furthermore, we are supported by successful investors like Ralf Reichert, the CEO of ESL or the entrepreneur Verena Pausder.

Leading our design efforts in creating intuitive and delightful user experiences. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our product, from conceptualizing new features to refining existing ones
Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design will be key in crafting solutions that meet our users’ needs and drive engagement. Working closely with our development and product teams, you’ll turn insights into beautiful, functional designs that enhance our user experience and contribute to our product’s success

Your mission

Design user-centric interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements
Ensure design consistency and coherence across the entire product
Take on further design tasks across departments (e.g. Brand Partnerships)

What do you need

At least 2 years of experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills (ideally with a focus on mobile interfaces)
Degree in product design, UX/UI design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design
Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes

Advantage but not a must

Motion Design Skills are a plus
Frontend Dev Skills are a plus

Deine Aufgaben

Zusammen mit unseren Product Managern und Entwicklern rockst du die Umsetzung unserer Produktziele in innovative Designlösungen.
Zeig dein Können in Nutzerforschung und Usability-Tests, um Insights zu sammeln und Designentscheidungen zu treffen, die voll ins Schwarze treffen.
Erstelle Wireframes, Prototypen und High-Fidelity-Designs für neue Features und Upgrades – alles, um unsere User richtig zu flashen.
Im Hintergrund sorgst du dafür, dass das Design im gesamten Produkt konsistent und stimmig bleibt.
Gelegentlich übernimmst du coole Designprojekte in unserem verschiedenen Abteilungen, wie zum Beispiel Brand Partnerships

Was du brauchst

Du passt perfekt zu uns, wenn du schon mind. 2 Jahre als ProduktdesignerIn am Start bist und ein Portfolio hast, das deine Designfähigkeiten unter Beweis stellt.
Einen Abschluss in Produktdesign, UX/UI-Design, Human-Computer Interaction oder einem verwandten Bereich
Erfahrung mit Design- und Prototyping-Tools (z. B. Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
Wenn du ein gutes Verständnis von user oriented Designprinzipien, Interaktionsdesign und responsivem Design hast, bist du hier gut aufgehoben.
Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Nutzerforschung und Usability-Tests
Wichtig ist auch, dass du gut im Team arbeiten und deine Designideen und Prototypen gut kommunizieren kannst.
Wenn deine visuellen Designfähigkeiten einfach überzeugen und du ein Händchen für die Interaktion zwischen Nutzer und System hast, bist du unser Match!
