Imagine amateur football finally had the platform it deserves.
Every weekend, millions of people write their own personal football stories – on pitches, in clubs and on the sidelines. We believe this passion deserves a digital home too.
That's exactly what we're building every single day.
I'm Lisa – and I'm looking for someone who wants to help push our mission forward.
Is that you? Let's find out together.
Brand & Content Manager (m/f/d)
Köln, Berlin, London
Full-time
Permanent employee
Hey!
Main information
- Start: April 2026
- Workload: Full-time
- Area of responsibility: Marketing & Brand
- Fast, easy & transparent application process
Is this a match?
- Location: see yourself working in one of our awesome offices in Cologne or London and don’t want to work fully remote!
- Experience: if you have a creative background (2-6 years of relevant experience) with a portfolio showcasing strong social-first work
- You enjoy working in a growing team & startup environment
Your playing field
We are not looking for a traditional social media manager, but rather a social brand designer who can bring our brand to life visually. You’ll be responsible for the visual implementation of our brand on social media - from design and editing right through to final publication.
Your focus: design, content & execution. You don’t just come up with ideas - you put them into practice yourself. Quickly, creatively and with a keen understanding of amateur football, community dynamics and modern social trends.

How you'll make a difference
Daily Business
- You design, edit and produce social-first content (Reels, TikToks, visuals) on a daily basis - from the initial idea through to the final cut and publication.
- Strengthen and evolve our brand identity across visuals, tone of voice, and storytelling
- Create a repeatable brand system (guidelines, templates, creative principles) that scales across channels and markets
- Build recognisable content “IP” (recurring formats/series) that audiences come back for
- Own the content roadmap and publishing rhythm across key social channels
- Produce and/or direct social-first assets (video, static, short-form series) with strong packaging (hooks, captions, edits)
- Partner with growth/paid teams to develop high-performing creatives and iterate through testing cycles
- Turn performance insights into creative decisions (what to double down on, what to stop, what to test next)
- Develop collaboration concepts with creators, communities, and local partners
- Build lightweight partner toolkits (assets, briefs, formats) that make it easy for others to co-create and share
- Identify scalable “distribution levers” that expand reach without diluting brand
What you bring to the table
- Brand Building: You’ve demonstrated the ability to build brands through content, not just campaigns.
- Visual Taste: You have excellent visual taste and strong execution skills (design, editing; motion basics are helpful).
- Creative Strategy: You bring strong skills in positioning, format development, channel thinking and distribution.
- Data Literacy: You feel comfortable working with data and understand core social and paid creative performance metrics.
- Hands-on Mentality: You move fast, are execution-focused and can ship work while raising the creative bar.
- Copywriting: You write strong hooks, captions and series framing.
- Editing: You craft short-form storytelling with a clear narrative flow.
- Production: You handle creator briefing and direction for efficient content production.
- Design: You develop social-first design and packaging (format setup, thumbnails/title cards, recognizability).
- Performance Mindset: You work test-driven, iterate quickly and apply insights to improve creative output.
- Football Culture: You bring an authentic understanding of sports/football culture, tone of voice and matchday dynamics.
- Languages: You’re fluent in English. Fluency in German is a plus!
Bonus
- Brand Building: Brand-building experience in a D2C or agency environment with clear, measurable outcomes
- Motion Basics: Motion design / animation fundamentals (template-based, fast and scalable)
- Paid Creative: Paid social creative experience (performance creatives, ad variants, hook testing)
- Activation: On-ground activation experience (events/matchdays, local partner activations, on-site content)
Benefits
- Be part of it from the start – Shape how Prematch grows and transforms amateur football.
- Competitive salary – You’ll be paid fairly and transparently.
- Employee participation (VSOP) — directly benefit from the company’s success.
- Three cool offices in Cologne, Berlin, and London — true startup vibes to work and grow together. Want to visit another office? We support that too!
- Remote work — depending on your distance to the office, you work 1–3 days a week onsite and the rest flexibly remote (working from home at the start and end of the week is quite popular ????) — whatever suits you best. Tech & Product roles sometimes offer 100% remote.
- Remote, even from afar — Whether it’s a week of sunshine abroad or a few days with family — we allow flexible work from outside your usual location.
- Team spirit — whether in the office or at home, we use cool tools and a virtual office to keep the team tightly connected.
- Modern IT equipment — We provide the tools and devices you need to be productive.
- 27 vacation days per year — For your rest and to recharge. Plus special arrangements if you’re a parent, so you can better balance family and relaxation.

- Offsites with the whole team — Four days out of the daily grind with the entire team: trips, brainstorming, onsite collaboration, and real team spirit.
