Is this a match?

The most important basics – so we both know if it could work.
  • Location: see yourself working in our awesome office in the Belgian Quarter (Cologne) and don’t want to work fully remote!
  • Experience: you have already gained between one to several years’ experience (approx. 1–5 years) in relevant fields and feel confident in your role.
  • You know football: Amateur football is not new to you — you’ve played yourself, are still active in a club, or have a good feel for the people, processes, and challenges on and off the pitch.
  • You enjoy working in a growing team & startup environment.

How you'll make a difference

  • Expansion and further development of communication and marketing activities with leading sports brands in the teamwear sector
  • Additional marketing and communications capacity to implement campaigns and initiatives to a high standard and at a rapid pace
  • Development of new communication formats, as well as the operational implementation and scaling of successful initiatives
  • Analysis of the performance of implemented initiatives and identification of opportunities for optimisation
  • Strengthening of the strategic partnership with leading sports brands through professional and effective activations throughout the customer journey

What you bring to the table

We're not looking for a perfect CV. But you should recognise yourself in these points.
  • Social Media & Content Marketing: You understand how content drives reach, engagement and brand impact – and can plan and implement content tailored to specific target audiences.
  • Community Management: You have experience engaging with communities and know how to build and nurture relationships authentically.
  • Newsletter Marketing: You know the basics of email marketing and can help with the planning, creation and optimisation of newsletters.
  • Initial experience with paid ads: You’ve already had some exposure to paid campaigns and have a basic understanding of how to use and evaluate them.
  • Partner management: You enjoy working with external partners, reliably coordinate arrangements and ensure professional collaboration.
  • Tools: Notion, Slack, Claude

Bonus

Not a must - but this’ll definitely earn you extra points.
  • Previous experience in the field of (sports) brands or (sports) retail
